First time on walker

@ 7 months 3 weeks and 2 days old

Mommy finally took out the walker and put me on the walker last Friday. She doesn't want me to "walk" in the walker, so she put the stopper up. She also raised the seat, so that my feet cannot touch the floor.. No fun then. I can only sit inside and cannot move. I don't really like it that much. I can only sit there for a few minutes before crying to be carried out again.

First time sweet potato

wah...I like this food the most..never really reject on my first try. I can finish the whole bowl too. So far, I have 2 days of organic sweet potato last week.

My two front teeth...

Yes..yes...my 2 lower teeth is out...
Well, it was out few weeks back just that mommy didn't have the time to keep track. Probably while I was 7 months old.

First time potato

Mommy introduced me potato last week, after I showed no interest in carrot.

She steam the potato and put it into the blender and blend together with milk. It becomes mashed potato.

First day, as usual, I find it so yucky to try on a new food. I don't really like it and I didn't finish the portion.

Second day, I started to accept the food as it has my milk taste. Kor kor has a big bowl of mashed potato together with me too. I finished the whole BIG bowl of mashed potato this time.

Third day, I started to fall in love with this food. I ate so fast and wanted more but today mommy did not prepare a lot. Just within minutes, I finished my bowl of mashed potato. Mommy bought organic potato for me this time.

Forth day, mommy poured too much milk into the blender and it came out so watery. Yucks..not the texture that I wanted..I didn't really like it this time. I cannot finish the whole bowl of watery mashed potato.

Next..mommy is going to introduce me sweet potato.

First time carrot

Yikes...I hate carrot...mommy tried me on carrot yesterday and I didn't like it at all. I find it too geli and spitted out all. Mommy tried to give me some more and I ended up crying like being bullied.

I don't accept new food easily. It takes time for me to accept a new food. Mommy said better try me on potato instead of carrot.

First Time Cereal

Backdated post..

Mommy started me on semi-solids 3 days before I turned 7 months old. It was brown rice cereal. I didn't really like it. Can see from the photos below.



The 3rd time, mommy added milk into my cereal..yeah.,..it tasted much better...from then on, I started to accept this new food called cereal. Mommy has slowly increased my serving and now I can eat about 1/3 bowl of cereal during lunch time.

Feeding
---------
1. Taking 5oz of milk 5-6 times a day. 3-4 hourly. Mostly on formula now since mommy admitted hospital 3 weeks back.
2. Started cereal 3 days before I turned 7 months. I dislike cereal initially but now I am ok with it. It takes time for me to adjust to a new food.
3. I have no problem drinking first half of the milk but come to 2nd half, I will need to hold something in my hand and play with it. Or else, I can't finish my milk. Even with something to play with, I still always leave 1 oz behind.

Sleeping
-----------
1. I still do not have a routine. I am a poor napper. There was once I could nap longer but after mommy came back from her Ipoh trip, everything went downhill. Now with the renovation on, it is even worse.
2. Night time is ok. Since I slept with daddy when mommy was away (Ipoh trip and hospital), now I can sleep better in the master bedroom with everyone.
3. My napping place can be on my own cot in bb's room, on kor kor's mattress in master bedroom or on my cot in master bedroom or on mommy's bed in master bedroom.

Overall
---------
1. I am very playful starting this month.
2. I am very responsive.
3. I always want people to play with me, talk to me.
4. I will cry when seeing people walk away from me.
5. My legs are very strong. I can grab things with my legs.
6. I can turn very fast. The single mattress downstairs is too small for me now. Within a minute, I can roll out of the mattress.
7. I can't crawl yet but I can move my body to the directions I want and grab my toys.
8. I get bored with my toys easily.
9. I like to chew on hard plastic parts, not the soft teether. I put almost anything in my mouth.
10. I started baby talk..first word..tata..then papa...now mama or mum mum... Daddy likes to hear me talk.
11. I don't sleep during my outing unless mommy carries me. I don't sleep in the car seat or stroller. That's why mommy doesn't want to bring me out.
