Tot school: 13/7/2012 (Friday)

Yes..it is Friday and today we play balls instead of schooling. I love balls since young...anything round actually.

I like to throw them around..

Later, I did some sequencing exercise. We lined the ball up in certain sequence, alternating with 2 different colour balls. I failed to grab the concept at first but after some guidance, I managed to complete the sequence.

After all the playing, I requested mommy to take some pictures of me..
What a happy day...

Tot school: 12/07/2012 (Thursday)

Sorry for such an outdated post. Will try to catch up as much as possible.

Today mommy wanted me to try something more advance..using a syringe. She doesn't know whether I can do it or not but no harm trying she said. So, she took out the medicine syringe and 2 bowls. One filled with water and another empty one.

Unfortunately I couldn't handle the syringe yet. I failed to pull the syringe up . So, mommy immediately changed the idea of giving me a dropper. This should be easier as I just need to "squeeze", hold, let go and squeeze again. I had a good time playing with this. I laughed so much whenever I squeezed the water out. The water shoot out so fast and even had some funny sound. I played for some time.

I even had a good look at the dropper and tried to drop the whole thing in the water and it floats. It is just so funny.

Then I proceeded to pour the water from one bowl to another. This helps to improve my pouring skill. Well, I love water play, remember?

Since I love water so much, why not letting me bathe my little animals?

Yes..mommy then took out a basket of small animals, a bigger tub of water and a towel. She taught me how to wash/bathe the animal, wipe dry with the towel and lined up in front of me. I like bathing them.

Next was photographic memory exercis.

Photo memory - fail but good try

Space memory - fail but good try

Instant memory - fail but good try

Block memory - better...score 3 out of 4

Mommy then took out the colour box 2 for me to see if I showed any interest. The last time I showed no interest in colour box 3.

So far, I am ok with colour box 2 but mommy needed to help me a bit as my interest is not too strong in this game though I can recognise all colours.

Finally, mommy took out a sticker book and let me peel and stick the stickers. Another good exercice for my fingers.

What a good day and I think we completed quite a lot today.

Princess says...@ 2years 5 months and 2 weeks old and 2 days old

She knows daddy and kor kor are "handsome"...while mommy and Isabel are "pretty"....

--------------------------------------

Yesterday mommy asked the children to pick up the toys before leaving for a walk in the evening. Darren was fast and even helped Isabel picked up her toys while Isabel was not helping at all. Mommy saw that and instructed Isabel to pick up the toys too. Isabel picked up a few toys happily and said to Darren,

"See, bel bel good. Helping you, Darren!"

*slap head*..who is helping who here...

-----------------------------------------------------

Anything that she is afraid, she will comfort herself by saying she likes it and it is good. Example,

"Bel bel likes ants/spider/dust (flying around). Ants/spider/dust is good."

-------------------------------------------------------

Last night we sent Darren to music class and she was there playing in the waiting area. Suddenly she hide her face around me and when I asked her why, she told me,

"Uncle look bel bel."

I asked her to greet the uncle hello and she did even with her hand waving at the uncle.

"Hello uncle."

The uncle replied back with a hello and she reported to me,

"Uncle say hello to bel bel."

Same thing happened when an aunty was looking at her. We did the same thing but later the aunty was laughing while talking to another lady. Isabel hide her face again and told me

"Aunty laugh bel bel"

Princess says...@ 2years 5 months and 2 weeks old

Every morning when she sees me smiling when i first greet her in her room, she will sure says,

"mommy happy!"

This morning, she told me, "bel bel make mommy happy."

---------------------------------

Whenever she needs help on something, she will scream, "help..help.." exactly like her brother..

Just now while she was playing lego, she asked, "help me take out this one.". After i helped her, she said "welcome mommy". Hahahaha.....

She is very good in saying 'thank you' after each time we help her on something and i will reply her by saying 'welcome'. She must have thought i am correcting her to say welcome instead of thank you.

She can build a car very nice now with her set of duplo lego. She built one just now and i complimented her, " wah...your car is so nice.". She replied, "no..this is not car, this is a cho cho train, mommy."

After a while, she told me, "this is not a train, mommy. This is lego."

--------------------------------------

Whenever she sees me doing housework, she will offer me her help by saying, "bel bel help mommy fold clothes/hang clothes/sweep floor.". What a thoughtful girl...

---------------------------------------

Sometimes she likes to call her kor kor by his name...especially when she ordered him to do things like..

"Darren, go bathe bathe....."
"Darren, wake up...."
"Darren, go and sleep..."

-----------------------------------------

One day, i was watching taekwondo on the television during the olympic, she was playing but suddenly she stopped and asked in a very surprised tone,

"what happened? What happened, momy?"

Before i can answer her, she continued by saying,

"oh..fall down..the man fall down mommy. He kicked. Why mommy?"

It was funny seeing her expression that time. She looked so innocent and worried for the man at the same time.

------------------/---------------

Her speech is definitely getting better and better each day. She is starting to talk on longer senteces now with 4-5words string together. The other day, she even started using the word 'because' but not the right way.....it is fun to talk to her nowadays...

One active night...

Just now when mommy placed me into the bed, i refused to sleep and was still active.

Mommy: Tomorrow do you want to go to music class? If you want, then you need to sleep early.
Isabel: (shake head) dun wan..
Mommy: don't want?
Isabel: want to go carrefour.
Mommy: carrefour? How about going to music class first, then we go carrefour, ok?
Isabel: ok..

After saying goodnight and all, mommy left the room and i was singing and talking on my own in my own bed for some time. Then i asked for milk milk... Mommy was hearing all these through the baby monitor in her room. She then came out and make milk at the hall outside. I could hear the milk bottle sound and i shouted happily..

Isabel: yeag..mommy make milk milk already...

Then mommy walked into the room with the milk and i cheekily greeted mommy,

Isabel: good morning mommy!

After some time, i still could not sleep, guess who i called for help? Of course not mommy.

Isabel: daddy...i want daddy...i want daddy bau bau...

Yeah..finally daddy came to my rescue...because i am daddy's little darling mah....the minute i manja daddy, daddy sure cannot tahan and fulfill all my request...

And now...after pooing....from 10 plus until 12am i was asking this and that...it is really time to sleep....goodnite everyone.
